Valentin Yudashkin sent down an absolutely gorgeous and delicately feminine collection for his Spring/Summer 2015 collection. Flower appliqué and immaculately precise stitching accompanied ethereal silhouettes. There were billowing skirts, elegant daywear and pink floral pieces that personified Hans Christian Andersen’s Thumbelina. Hand-painted watercolors and pastels juxtaposed the metallic filigree in a strikingly luxurious way. When you lacquer something in gold, it becomes that much more precious.

The models looked like walking vases - an open canvas for blooming life and rejuvenation. The dresses could be mistaken for floral couture, as if a garden was blooming directly on them. A palette that consisted of the colors of clouds could only be fit for a modern Disney princess and her woodland nymph counterpart.

Let’s talk about these double standards here.

Miley Cyrus and Nick Jonas. Both former disney stars. Both adults now. Both trying to express their real selves and get out of their disney phases.

When Miley started the transition, she got so much hate. Every celebrity news site was calling her a whore, saying how “inappropriate” it was for the former Hannah Montana star to be showing off her body in such a way, and even making fun of and shaming her body type.

When Nick Jonas recently released these photos of himself grabbing his fucking dick, he got such a positive response. "Nick Jonas Grabs His Junk, Shows Off His Abs and Happy Trail in New Flaunt Photos" Everyone’s calling him “eye-candy”, and encouraging him. No one’s calling him a slut. No one’s calling him a whore. No one’s saying he’s a “bad role model”.

I mean, just look at these two headlines and tell me this is fair treatment.

I’m so beyond done with this shit.

bless this

At first I hated Miley because she is a role model for such young kids.
But then I realised she doesn’t want to be and it’s the parents I should be mad at.
They shouldn’t let their prepubescent kids listen to her music, and Miley isn’t to blame.

The world spent $1735 billion on war in 2012

It would cost approximately $135 billion to completely eradicate poverty.

Isn’t that a shocking example of how thing are prioritised globally
